2026 Working Policy Papers

The AASSREC Working Policy Paper Series is a key component of the Boosting Social Sciences and Their Contribution to Better Lives Across the Indo-Pacific program. This initiative supported the development of nine (9) peer-reviewed policy working papers that address priority issues identified at the Regional Funding Summit held in Bangkok in May 2024. These papers aim to promote evidence-informed policymaking, foster collaboration, and amplify the impact of social science research across the region.
You may access the eBook through the button below, or scroll down to view each policy paper separately.

The Boosting Social Sciences program is a collaborative partnership between the Association of Asian Social Science Research Councils (AASSREC), the Global Development Network (GDN), and UNESCO, generously funded by Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
