The AASSREC Mentoring Initiative (AMI) now accepts applications from early- and mid-career social science researchers in the Asia-Pacific region. Designed to provide vital support to researchers working in under-resourced areas, AMI offers informal mentoring and career development guidance. The program spans 12 months, with participants required to commit to a minimum of four virtual/online or telephonic meetings. These sessions will cover a range of topics, from scholarly publication strategies to navigating workplace challenges and identifying research funding opportunities. Applications for both mentors and mentees are open until 31 May 2024.
