Pathways to a post-COVID world

How can the multi-trillion dollar COVID-19 recovery packages be channelled to rebuild a world that is simultaneously more sustainable and resilient?

Together with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), the ISC brought together experts from all over the world to define and design sustainability pathways for a more sustainable post COVID-19 world.

The results of this initiative have now been published in a synthesis report with eight key recommendations, and four thematic reports:

• Enhancing Governance for Sustainability
• Strengthening Science Systems
Rethinking Energy Solutions
Resilient Food Systems

The reports present recommendations on the policy choices needed to move towards a stronger and more sustainable long-term future.
