Call for Nominations: Advisory Council for ISC Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific”

The ISC is seeking nominations for candidates to sit on the Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific Advisory Council.

Members of the Advisory Council will support the engagement with subregional ISC Members, contribute to articulating regional priorities, and help amplifying ISC representation, communications, and outreach. A Terms of Reference outlines its duties and obligations.

The ISC encourages members of the social science community to nominate candidates for the Advisory Council. Candidates must have an involvement with an ISC Member organization in the Asia-Pacific region and have experience in science-policy and science-and-society interactions as well as in developing regional and/or national science networks.

Nominations must be submitted by a representative of an ISC Member organization.  If you would like to be nominated for the Advisory Council by AASSREC, please contact AASSREC Secretary-General Michelle Bruce (michelle.bruce@socialsciences.org.au) by 21 August.

Nominations are due to the ISC by 27 August 2023.
